Studio Ismeo was founded on a straightforward belief that architecture should do more than perform well on paper. It should move people. It should feel considered at every scale, from the way light enters a room in the morning to the presence a building holds in its surroundings decades after it is built.

Josue Ismeo Jean Louis is the founder of Studio Ismeo, a boutique design studio operating as a brand of Honta, LLC. He brings over fifteen years of experience working at the highest levels of architectural design and project leadership, with a practice focused on concept design and 3D visualization for high-end residences, mixed-use developments, hospitality, and commercial projects.

From 2011 to 2021, Josue worked at Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design in Miami, one of South Florida's most recognized luxury design firms. Over a decade there, he served as a Lead Designer and Project Manager on a wide range of demanding commissions, including private estates on Indian Creek Island, landmark towers, large-scale mixed-use developments, and Marina Pointe in Tampa, a three-tower waterfront development he led from concept through design development. It was the kind of work that sharpens both creative instinct and technical discipline in equal measure.

In March 2021, he founded Studio Ismeo as a boutique design studio dedicated to concept design and architectural visualization. The studio works with architects, developers, and organizations who care deeply about the quality of what they build and want a design partner who brings that same level of care to every stage of the process, from the first sketch to the final rendering.

The work begins with listening. Every project has its own logic, its own site, its own set of people it is meant to serve. Studio Ismeo's process is built around understanding those conditions before reaching for solutions. What follows is a disciplined creative process that moves through form, light, materiality, and proportion with the goal of producing something that feels right, not just visually resolved, but genuinely connected to its purpose and place.

Josue holds a Master of Arts in Architecture from Florida International University (2010) and a Professional Bachelor of Architecture from Florida Atlantic University (2008).
